What’s Happening In Softball Strikeout 3 Home Run?
The girls are back to continue their season, with the Blue Jays softball team facing some ups and downs as their season progresses. It’s not all wins. The girls from Greenville will need to learn to adapt to losses, pick themselves up, shake off the dust and keep going if they want to come out at the end of the season on top and take home the cup.
Along with a lot of softball action, we also dove a little deeper into their business, Pet Sitters Inc. With their dog walking business growing at a fast pace, the girls will quickly need to learn how to balance their schoolwork, social activities, and softball if they don’t want their new enterprise to come crumbling down around them.
We don’t want to give away too many spoilers, so you’ll need to read the book yourself to discover what happens in Softball Strikeout: Home Run!
The Challenges of Writing the Softball Strikeout Series
Writing the Softball Strikeout Series has been so much fun but also quite challenging at the same time. We wanted to write a book dedicated to a sport which may not get as much love as it deserves books-wise.
Without an extensive background in softball or baseball, it’s involved a lot of fact-checking and research to ensure that we’re using the correct terminology and the correct rules. Even then, trying to stay true to different country, state, and regional rules, especially in younger softball divisions, has been quite a lot of work.
So, if we make a mistake along the way, please forgive us. We’re 100% open to any feedback, especially if we’ve explained a softball term or rule incorrectly.

If you have read books 1 and 2 in the Softball Strikeout Series, then thank you! We really didn’t expect the amount of support and love the book series has received. What was supposed to be a standalone book has quickly evolved into a growing series with characters we’ve fallen in love with.
